The statement from the inventor of the Pahlavandle.

The results from training 6 weeks with pahlavandle

Parkinsons is a degenerative  neurological disease. There are 7,000 Danes and 400.000 Germans with Parkinsons Disease. It is most common in people over the age of 60, but can also be prevalent at a younger age.

The Parkinsons associations of  Southern Denmark and Northern Germany were granted funding through an Interreg project to introduce "Indian clubs" to their members. The project is part of a cross-border initiative to improve quality of life and partake in daily motion with people in similar situations while developing friendship and understanding of another culture..

We have chosen this ancient warrior training method to unite people and cultures rather than to divide, and to encourage and strengthen both mind and body. We are continuing for the 4th year to promote the Parkinsons knows no borders theme by sharing knowledge and building friendships.

This 6 week training program is designed to improve coordination, body control, strength and balance.
The Pahlavandle from Heroic Sport is the training equipment used to practice the club swinging exercises in the program. The Pahlavandle was chosen over conventional Indian clubs because of the ability to adjust the weight simply by adding or removing more water, It is easily portable to bring to group training and small in size for home use and storage.

New videos will be added on a weekly basis.
